Greetings! We had a wonderful June General Meeting with a very educational program on Japanese irises with Mr. Chad Harris of Mt. Pleasant Iris Farm. Thank you, Carolyn and her students, for hosting the program.

We also elected a new slate of officers for 2015/2016. Welcome new board members and thank you very much, out-going officers, for your services to the Chapter.

This year, we decided to hold quarterly General Meetings instead of monthly.  Contrary to the fears of some Board Members, attendance did not drop off, but increased from recent years. The new Board will get busy with planning fun and interesting programs. If you have ideas or suggestions, please contact any of the Officers or your School Representative. With your help, we can continue having successful meetings. We would love to hear from you.

And, in response to feedback, the General Meetings will return to the 3rd Monday of the month with a couple of exceptions due to holidays.
