On the November 4-5 weekend, there will be TWO exhibitions, bring the series of fall exhibitions to a close:

Ikenobo at the Japanese Garden Cultural Village, 10:00 – 4:00

Saga Goryu’s 77th Annual Fall Ikebana Exhibition at the Henjyoji Temple, 11:00-4:00

As in recent years, II Chapter 47 was invited to participate in Saga Goryu’s exhibition.  Members representing Ohara, Ryusei-ha and Sogetsu will join the event.

In addition to ikebana, the annual Aki Matsuri (Fall Festival) offers Chado (The Way of Tea) demonstrations at 1:00 and 2:00, along with ceramic ware by  local artisans Ken Pincus, Jan Rentenaar and Daniel Granias.
