Ohara – Carolyn Alter and Phyllis Danielson returned from the recent NAOTA (North American Ohara Teachers Association) Conference held in Boston, no doubt invigorated to inspire their students in Portland and Vancouver/Seattle, respectively.

Saga Goryu Aki Matsuri –  This year, the Chapter was invited to participate in this Fall Ikebana Exhibition. This annual event draws friends, family, acquaintances, and people from the neighborhood of the Henjyoji Temple, who return year after year.   This year,  their Ikebana horizons were expanded by seeing arrangements from Sogetsu, Ryusei-ha, Ohara and Ichiyo Schools of Ikebana.  Exhibition photos
