March General Meeting
At the close of our March General Meeting, out of the six guests attending, three decided to become Chapter members. WOW!
Were they persuaded by the excellent Tiramisu with Espresso Anglaise dessert served at lunch?
Maybe the future members were enticed by the variety of ikebana displayed. At all the General Meetings, each school is asked to provide an arrangement and describe the style. This is always an informative learning experience for members and guests, alike. Click to enjoy the photos.
Or, it may have been the bonus mini-program. Nana Bellerud gave a crash course on using the “furoshiki” (Japanese wrapping cloth) — practical and pretty alternatives to paper or plastic.
Welcome to the newbies, whose identities will be revealed in the next newsletter!
