Dear fellow friends in flowers,

I must tell you that I am moving to South Carolina on Dec. 2. We are going there to be near our family, as many of you have moved to the Portland area to be near your own families. My husband Carl and I have very much enjoyed our 18 years in Portland, and I have loved my experiences with all of you in the ikebana world. You have taught me so much and I have grown as a person with your help. Your love of flowers permeates each meeting, and your willingness and generosity to share yourselves is a treasure of the Portland area community.
