Cultural Corner Demonstrations
In the Garden’s new Japanese Arts Learning Center, the Cultural Corner is a raised area with tatami mats and glass walls, intended for a series of cultural presentations, including ikebana. On Sunday, April 9 at 1:00, Saga Goryu began the ikebana series. In an hour long presentation, David Komeiji demonstrated the principle styles, by creating a Seika, Heika, Moribana and a Tai-Yoo-So arrangements. Click to view photos.
