It was the first General Meeting of the New Year. President Nana Bellerud named the meeting as “Return of the Iron Ikebana.” Representatives from each participating school stood facing the audience as the President and her helper brought out newspaper wrapped flower material to be handed to each of them. Then, the show started.  They were to arrange flowers within 30 minutes, using the material that were given to them. The audience enjoyed watching the work in progress.

After 30 minutes, each arranger was finished with their tasks and explained what they were trying to accomplish with the newly given material.

It was a delightful program attended by 24 members and three guests.  Everybody enjoyed this educational event, followed by the delicious three course luncheon.  Click to see more photos
