Highlights of September Board Meeting

• A unanimous vote decided that as of July 2015, to cancel the $2.00 postage requirement for mailing out the rosters.
• Betty Wolf reported that the “Vice President’s” container donated to the Chapter by Mildred Schnitzer, has been duly passed on to Judy Harpel, the current VP.  It will now be possible to reinstate the tradition of an arrangmeent by the VP using the container, at all exhibits.
• Revision and updating of Standing Rules needs to begin asap.
• The Chapter Board Meetings will continue to be held at the Riverside Golf Club, through June 2015, with thanks to Deloah Brady for making this possible.

Meeting Minutes – at the General Meeting a request was made to send out meeting minutes by e-mail within a week of the meeting.  An e-mail message was sent (and successfully delivered) on Sept 15 to 38 members, 28 opened the message, and the links to the minutes opened by 11.  The minutes were sent by post to 24 members.

A reminder from the Webmaster: Meeting minutes may be viewed, at members’ convenience, in the Members Only section of the website.  Obviously, it behooves the Board to post meeting minutes reliably and promptly, following each meeting.
