Sogetsu School

The Sogetsu School brings traditional Ikebana into the 20th century, with its stress on creativity; it is an art form based on plant material and adapted to varied surroundings. Beginners study a series of basic proportions and styles; mastering these, they are encouraged to use their own creativity to design freestyle arrangements.
